Privacy policy

Who is responsible

Mickey Muis Holding B.V. (trading as Mouthy), Noorderplas 25, 6718 LJ Ede, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) 92194486, is the data controller. Send privacy questions to hello@mouthyplanner.com.

What we process

• When you order: your name, email address, delivery address, what you order, the amount and whether you asked for gift wrapping.
• About your payment: only the status and a reference from Mollie. We never receive your bank or card details.
• Your language and whether you want to receive check-in emails.
• If you email us: your email address and what you write.
• Technical: our hosting provider keeps server logs for a short time (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and working.

Why, and on what basis

• Fulfilling, charging, shipping and emailing you about your order: necessary for our contract with you.
• Keeping order records for our accounts: legal obligation.
• Check-in emails: only with your consent, which you give or refuse at checkout. Every email has an unsubscribe link and you can withdraw consent at any time.
• Securing the site and fixing errors: our legitimate interest.

Who we share data with

Only with parties we need to run the shop. We have agreements with them on security and confidentiality.

• Mollie (payments)
• Resend (sending confirmation and check-in emails)
• Vercel (website hosting)
• Neon (the database that holds orders)
• The carrier that delivers your parcel (name and address)

Some of these parties also process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, this is based on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or an equivalent legal safeguard. We never sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

How long we keep data

• Order and invoice records: 7 years, as required by Dutch tax law.
• Your consent for check-in emails: until you unsubscribe.
• Emails to us: as long as needed to handle your question, then at most 2 years.
• Server logs: a few weeks.

Cookies and local storage

We use no tracking or advertising cookies and no analytics that follow you. Your bag and language are stored locally in your own browser so they are still there when you come back. That data only reaches us when you check out. During payment, Mollie may set its own functional cookies.

Security

The site only works over an encrypted connection (https). Access to orders is limited to the people who need it, each with their own account.

Your rights

You may access, correct or delete your data (as far as we are not legally required to keep it). You can also object, restrict processing, request your data in a common format and withdraw any consent you gave. Email hello@mouthyplanner.com; we reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl) or, in Belgium, the Data Protection Authority.

Changes

If anything changes in how we handle data, we update this policy. The date at the top shows when that last happened.
